The Capilano Run is the salmon run in the Capilano River in West Vancouver BC. The run was interrupted by the building of a dam. A salmon hatchery has been established at the foot of the dam in a very successful venture to maintain the stock of Capilano fish. John and Simon Scott visited the hatchery when he was in Vancouver in 1983.
