Note from the original description: “Bow Fiddle Rock” is at Portknockie at the west end of Cullen Bay (about forty miles north of Aberdeen). It is a large pointed rock surrounded by the sea, but not very far from the shore. On it’s south side there is a large arc of rock almost like a flying buttress. An impressive sight! There, are several other interesting rocks nearby.
