This is a very energetic dance in which 1st and 2nd couples dance without a break for 32 bars. The last eight bars have been added to take 1st couple to third place where they can rest after dancing once. The unfortunate 2nd couple have to dance twice with only an 8 bar rest between turns.
There is a Jig tune composed by Jimmy Blair called “Etta Gibson”.
