Drewry specifies in the notes to the dance:
The dance may be danced just as a strathspey or just as a reel, or four times as a strathspey followed by four times as a reel, or twice as a strathspey followed by twice as a reel.
When turning with two hands in reel tempo, skip change of step should be used.
