For Inverness Branch of the RSCDS.
“Clacn na Cudain” means “Stone of the Tubs” The stone with this name used to be at the top of the bank of the River Ness and the housewives of the neighbourhood rested their tubs of wet chothes on it while they recovered breath after doing their laundry and climbing the steep bank.
The stone is now incorporated in the fabric of the Town House in Inverness.
One repeat from new places is probably enough for most dancers as this is a vigorous dance.
