Devised in May 2000 for Robin and Nick Knox of Pond Place, Babylon, for their first wedding anniversary.
*Balance-in-line in strathspey time: This is a formation devised by the late Milton Levy of New
York. The steps are the same as for normal strathspey setting. The hands move as follows: on the
first bar, those with left hands joined in the middle drop left hands and all, moving to the right,
join left hands under right hands and then drop right hands. Those moving into the middle of the
line join right hands. Repeat moving to the left on bar 2, joining right hands under left hands.
This is not as complicated as it sounds: the free hands simply join underneath the ‗holding hands‘
each time.
