Devised in honor of my grandparents, Richard Haggarty and Christina Wallace Haggarty (my Nana) who between them served nearly 40 years on West Lothians’ County Council. In their honour a new bridge was built between Stoneyburn and Addiwell, over the Briech Water where they used to meet while courting. The bridge is named Haggarty’s Brig.
