Elaine, who was born in Falkirk, went to Dunfermline College of Physical Education in Edinburgh where she danced to Muriel, neither of them having any idea of the connection that would be made later in the USA. Elaine now teaches in Virginia and is an enthusiastic ambassador for music and dance all over North America.
