This dance was devised by Peter Cass & Marion Peutherer to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Newcastle University Scottish Country Dance Society in 1999. The Small Gym, in the King’s Walk Sports Centre, has been the home of the club for many years. Such a shame that the University SCD Society folded in 2003 due to lack of participants.
