Note: The name Soquel is usually mispronounced (it’s pronounced Sokell). The tongue-in-cheek title refers
to the one and only exit from the freeway to Soquel. Down that road a bit, you can find the Soquel Class
most Friday nights. This dance was devised with fellow teacher Paula Jacobson as a good way to teach reels
to beginnen.
