The “Day of Dance” is held in the church hall at Causewayhead at the foot of the hill which has the Wallace Monument on its crest. The day was organised originally by Mary Prentice (whose initials were M.J.P.) and was continued by JAG after her death.
This is a simple little dance which could be used as a "warm-up dance, but, as a vigorous dance, it is probably better done in three-couple sets.
I always feel that a dance flows better with a left hand turn rather than a right before an allemande or a promenade.
