The inscription on the book states: Several years ago, Leicester Branch ran a competiton to devise a dance (a four-couple strathspey) to fit a tune called “Daunder in the Glen” composed by one of our members. My contribution was not successful, but on the principle of “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again", I adapted it for a three-couple set and submitted it for this book. This is the result.
