The notes say this was devised “by Sue Porter July 2003 for her father, Dan Blackwood’s 80th birthday on 4th August 2003, which he celebrated while attending the Senior Class at Summer School. Dan is the illustrator of the Society’s notelets and many posters depicting dances. This dance shows his connection with the Scouts, painting and having a ‘reel’ good time dancing.”
