The notes say this was “Dedicated and in memoriam to Gordon Esslemont, Chieftain and Past President of the Harrow and District Caledonian Society, who did much in maintaining Scottish customs and traditions in North West London. Gordon was a founder member of The Luckenbooth Circle in Bury St Edmunds.”
