This dance honours Mary Wattum, benefactor of our Branch.
Mary began dancing in the 1930s, the earliest years of Scottish country dancing in Vancouver, and she has been dancing and attending dance events ever since.
Her generosity supports our Betwixt and Between dance each year, and she has enabled the John Ellis Band, the David Cunningham Band, and the Marian Anderson Band to visit Vancouver.
Paulina Barnes is a founder member of the Vancouver Branch, She served the Branch as Senior Instructor and Director of the Demonstration Team.
