TIlis dance was devised to commemorate the visit by members of the Hamilton Branch to the Halifax International Weekend in 2001. Several members of the Branch afterwards stayed at Cape D’or which juts out into the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, at its northern end, and is scoured by fierce tidal rips containing numerous whirlpools.
