»Devised by Dale Birdsall, Shoreham, Vermont. The title, ›Gold and Silver,‹ was easy. The ›Gold‹ is the golden anniversary of the Teachers’ Association (Canada) and the ›Silver‹ refers to the 25 years since I received my preliminary certificate and first joined the TAC. I am proud that my dance was included in this tribute to the great organization of teachers which has done so much to spread the joy of Scottish Country Dancing.«
