The dance and its figures resemble the layout of the underground lines that circle around Vienna’s city centre (U2 and U4) or intersect below St Stephen’s Cathedral (U1 and U3), as well as the transition from early morning to rush-hour traffic, waiting on the platform and getting on and off the trains.
