1-6

All clap, 1s+4s dance DoSiDo; 1s cross down 1 place & 4s cross up 1 place (2s step up & 3s step down 5-6). 2 (1) 4 (3) 7-8 1s & 4s advance, join RH with partner & Ladies turn under Mans’s right arm to end 1L followed by 1M facing 2M, 4L followed by 4M facing 3M (1st corner diagonal)

9-10

1s+4s dance Alternating Tandem 1/2 reel of 4 with 2M & 3M (2 bars i.e. pass corner and change lead)

11-12

1s+4s dance RH across 1/4 round (2 bars), 1s face 3L & 4s face 2L (2nd corner diagonal)

13-16

1s+4s repeat 9-12, 1s face 2M & 4s face 3M (1st corner diagonal)

17-20

1s+4s dance Alternating Tandem Pass+Turn with 2M+3M; 1s+4s dance RH across 1/4 round, 1s face 3L & 4s face 2L (2nd corner diagonal)

This dance was devised by Jim Rae and is dedicated to Masako (Marchan) Okada Naitoh to celebrate
her receiving the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society’s Scroll ofHonour in 2007. The title reflects the
many years that Marchan has devoted passed on the tradition of, and love for, Scottish country dancing
that was passed to her by DrJean Milligan so many years ago
