Devised in May 2010.
The New York Branch meets in the main hall of Holy Cross School on 43rd Street in Manhattan. This hall has several pillars which are incorporated in this dance. In the event that a group has the “misfortune” to dance in a hall without pillars, it may substitute hands across for the movements around the pillars
Music Any good jig. A suitable recording is “Let‘s Celebrate, We Twa”, Kenny Thomson
and the Wardlaw Scottish Dance Band, track 16.
