Presented to Miriam Dose and Duncan Laidlaw to celebrate their engagement. Duncan went down ‘on bended knee’ and proposed to Miriam on Sunday 1st January 2006 after the completion of the midnight ceremonies at the 2005-2006 New Zealand Branch Summer School in Auckland.
Devised over Monday and Tuesday the 2nd and 3rd January 2006. Not having my dances with me, I was having trouble devising a suitable dance until Noeline O’Connor suggested including ‘M’s for Miriam - bars 5-6 and bars 13-14.
