Wouter Joubert of Pretoria, the publisher, adds (in Strathspey message 67356): The reels in bars 1-8 are across 1st and 3rd place respectively, 1st couple with 2nd woman who dances up the side to 1st woman’s place (a bit of a curve to the right) and 3rd couple with 2nd man who likewise dances down into 3rd man’s place.
