Заметки
This dance is inscribed to Stella Fogg who teaches Scottish Country Dancing all around the U.S.A. Stella also teaches in Scotland and in Canada. Raised in Gourock on the River Clyde near Glasgow, Stella has had as home base for more than 20 years Richmond, Virginia on the James River. She saves out some weekends to dance at Branch balls throughout eastern U.S A. where the branch members look forward to dancing with her. There is a warmth for fellow dancers and a love of dancing emanating from her that makes her a favorite in any set.
Stella grew up ceilidh dancing and turned to Scottish Country Dancing in the Girl Guides. She married a US sailor and moved across the pond, initially to Maine, Brian’s home state. On a posting to Hawaii, Stella was encouraged by Mary Brandon to take her teaching certificate in Scottish Country Dancing. She did so and gained her preliminary certificate in Hawaii with Miss Milligan as the examiner. Some years later, while living in Richmond, Stella received her full certificate at TAC -the Teachers Association of Canada. Stella is also the deviser of several dances.
