Заметки
»The Castle of Mey was Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother’s residence in the far north of Scotland where she spent some time during each year. After her death it was opened to the public.«
Note (additional to the book and the Manual). collected by Helen Russell from staff teaching The Diamond Jubilee book at Summer School 2012.
16 2nd couple finish the double figure of eight flat.
At Summer School the dance was taught and completed in the traditional way i.e. at the end of the second time through with 1st couple stepping out and down. The new 3rd couple entered the reels from 4m place this caused no problems.
However we have since learned that the deviser intended that … “1st couple on bars 7 -8 of the poussette would dance down nearer hands joined to fourth place, while 4th couple steps up ready for the reels”, but it appears that these notes were not included in the script sent in for publication.
