Inscribed to Fred and Marge van Nus on the occasion of their 55th wedding anniversary. The dance tells their story, and their active participation in Scottish Country Dance. In the first eight bars they meet, marry, and begin dancing. They include other dancers who in turn include more dancers, and they travel round the world Scottish Country Dancing. Still dancing, they eventually end up here in Southwest Washington among the fir-covered, emerald hills that we call home.
