The notes explain the title:
For some time after I’d started Scottish Country dancing I was uncertain if the colloquial name for “dance to comers and set” was “courage reel” or “carriage reel”. I have this sorted out now but “Carriage to Schiehallion” seems a better title than ''Courage for Schiehallion·· and maybe evokes images of Victorian ladies venturing along Loch Tummel in a pony and trap - albeit a little longer ago than the formation of the Winchester Branch!
