In the summer of 2007, club members or friends often hosted dance parties in their gardens. One such evening I had planned to teach a dance with cross over mirror reels but most people were enjoying the sun, lounging in hammocks, enjoying the food and wine. I persuaded three couples away from the food and wine and came up with the Hammock Jig.
