1s+3s dance RH across & chase clockwise 1/2 way round the set while 2s cast (2M up, 2L down), both cross & cast to each other’s places & turn RH (3) (2) (1) 9-16 2s dance down to bottom & cast up, dance up (no hands) between top couple & cast to 2nd place opp sides (3) (2) (1) 17-24 All turn partners RH, 3s+2s cross RH with partner, 2s+3s change places passing LSh on sides

3s+1s dance Transverse Rondel:
25-27
Couple on Ladies’ side make arch & change places with couple opposite, dancers cast away from each other & turn inwards to face up/down.
28-30
1s (couple facing up) make arch & change places with 3s (couple facing down) 3s cross LH as they dance down
31-32
3s cast up to 2nd place, 1s lead down & loop into 3rd place. 2 3 1

Devised for Jim Calder, former janitor at St Ronan’s School. Jim had his arm in a sling at the time so the men do not use their left hands in this dance.
