The title of the dance comes from the crossing of 2 roads in the centre of Harcourt Park, a cottage community near Haliburton Ontario. The roads represent the centre of the 7000 acre park and they intersect in a St. Andrew’s Cross fashion. One of the yearly highlights for the Woodglen group is the yearly summer dance held in the Harcourt Park Community Centre, at Little Straggle Lake. Information from John Clark via issue 4011 .
