Bars 25- 30 can also be described as - 2nd couple dance six bars of a Figure of Eight while 3rd couple dance an ellipse 1 ½ times by casting down, dancing up touching hands briefly, and casting down. The figure is the last six bars of an upside-down Hitching Rail Progression page 12.
