Dance written by Irene Wilkie for, and with suggestions from, Hopscotch - the children’s Scottish dance team in Chippenham. As Bill Gass is the regular piper with the team, the children wanted the dance to be named after him, hence Dumbarton Rock, as Bill comes from Dumbarton.
Bill has regularly piped for Bristol Branch’s celebrations - Bums Nights, Branch weekends in this country, tours abroad and other special occasions.
