Заметки
Dedicated to George Kerr, the regular musician at the Peterborough RSCDS practice sessions, who helps me with the music for my dances.
George, a Scotsman settled in Peterborough (nickname of ‘POSH’) after serving in WW2.
The City underwent a major rebuilding exercise some years ago and the dance is intended to show signs of the initial upheaval in the first eight bars of the dance.
The City is famous for all its roundabouts and this is reflected in the circling shown in the last eight bars of the music.
