This dance was devised in April 1999, to celebrate 40 years of dancing at the ‘Castle’.
The Dance depicts the movement of young soldiers and their lasses promenading up and down the streets of Stirling as they make their way to a dance at the Castle.
They cross the bridge, enter through the arch and proceed to join in an evening’s reeling before finishing with the traditional Argyll Circle of Eight.
