Devised by Marion McIntosh, the current dance teacher at Westerton, for 12th October 2006 - The 75th Anniversary of the founding, by Janet Rae, of Westerton Scottish Country Dance Club.
Mrs Rae attended one of Miss Milligan’s classes in the city of Glasgow, and persuaded her to come to Westerton with a few of her stalwarts to set up the club. It was only a small wooden hut at the time, and so many people turned up that half of them had to dance outside in the street.
