Suggested recorded music: The Wee Cooper of Fife played by Deirdre Adamson
The aim was to create a dance which gave the lead pair lots of opportunity for covering and synchronisation, culminating in the final birl at the end of “Hello-Goodbye” setting. This last figure needs 10 bar music, and, luckily, Diedre Adams music uses a number of different tunes!
J Johnston’s dances in Minicrib provided the seed crystals from which this dance was developed, and my delight in them, the inspiration.
