Заметки
Joseph Thomson was an explorer who lived in Dumfriesshire in the 1800s. He travelled to Africa on many expeditions. Joseph said, “I am a Scot and I can talk to people.” As a result, when he visited the Maasai in Kenya, he was welcomed as a friend and no one on either side was killed. He was a man of peace. Joseph gave his name to Thomson’s Falls and Thomson’s Gazelles. I am proud to say I am his Gt. Gt. Gt. Cousin. Joseph’s motto was - “He who goes gently goes safely and he who goes safely goes far.”
Bars 25-32 represent the Maasai "Adumu (“Jumping Dance”)
