1 - 4- 1st couple (with brooms) sweep down the middle
5 - 8 1st couple cast up and sweep up the sidelines to top place, while 2nd and 3rd couples dance back to back.
9 - 16 1st, 2nd and 3rd couples dance mirror reels of three on their own sides
17 - 24 1st couple dance a fig of eight with a difference round the 2nd couple. – 1st woman crosses down between the 2nd couple, up round 2nd man and across the set (passes the broom to 2nd woman) and casts into 2nd place, while 1st man dances across the set, around 2nd woman, up between 2nd couple (passes the broom to 2nd man) and down around 2nd man and into 2nd place. 2nd couple move up on bars 23 and 24.
25 - 28 1st and 3rd couples dance half rights and lefts.
29 – 32 1st and 3rd couples turn with both hands (with rubbish bags) one and a half times to own sides.
Repeat with new top couple.
