Заметки
Dance devised by Irene Paterson with music composed by Calum MacKinnon for Rachel Pusey and Dilip Sequeira when they left Seattle.
The dance name is a very clever play on words, the details of which Irene has kindly explained. Because this departing dancer was quite involved in bell-ringing, she was thereby “hooked” on bells. But that’s not all: she is also an avid crocheter, and thus there is a double entendre for the word “hooked.” Furthermore the slip-knot figure, not a very common one in SCDs but included in this dance, names also with its double meaning the initial stitches for starting a crocheting project.
