The notes say that “Dornie lies at the point where three lochs meet, Loch Long, Loch Aish and Loch Duich. The dance represents the meeting of the waters, the middle 16 bars Eilean Donan Castle and the last 8 bars the water moving under the bridges up to the castle.”
