The dance comprises four parts of 32 bars; each starts with a 16-bar Cloverleaf formation, then one of several 8 bar figures, and finally 8 unchanging bars. The women progress anticlockwise to a new partner each time, and finish with their original partner.

Dance devised by Brian Pierson at the request of the Chiswick Scottish Country Dance Club in June 2013 for

(Bar) of Hemel Hempstead. Born in Dunedin, New Zealand, Bar was President of the Berkhamsted Strathspey & Reel Club, an RSCDS-qualified teacher at the London Branch, and the Watford, Gerrards Cross, and Chiswick clubs, and an MC whose expertise earned her the role of MC at an RSCDS AGM Ball.
