For forty years, Scottish Country Dance Classes have been held in Torridon under a variety of Teachers. Over that duration, music has always been provided by a mixture of records, tapes and CDs. The current Teacher, Marie Macdonald, has taken the bold move of celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Torridon SCD Group by organising a SC Dance with ‘live’ music.
‘The Road to Torridon’ has been devised to mark the event, to a tune composed by Frank Thomson of Aberdeen who provided the said ‘live’ music.
