We listened to the audio recording of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, while driving down to Betty’s Bay for a family wedding. This, as well as the tune, The Forbidden Forest, inspired this dance. I wanted to write a Harry Potter related dance to go with the title of the tune, so I decided to use the number three - for the trio of main characters: Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Thus we have a three couple dance in a three couple set, using formations of three wherever possible, titled ‘Three is Magic’.
