For Margaret Lambourne on the occasion of her 70th birthday on 16th December 2017. The name of the dance was inspired by her obtaining her Dutch citizenship earlier in the year.
The pattern of the dance reflects the differences between the UK and continental Europe, and can be interpreted in several ways: moving from one side of the Channel to the other; driving on the right or the left side of the road; switching between the native language and the language of the new country, etc.
