The dance was devised by Jack Pressley for the dancers who dance, regularly every Sunday, at the Church Hall in Longside (Langside), Aberdeenshire and, who engage some of the best Scottish musicians, but, most of all they create such a welcoming atmosphere that it is an absolute pleasure to attend their dances.
“Caper” is the Doric word for dance.
