Dance presented to Dave and Pat Houghton on their visit to the Queensland Branch’s Weekend of Dance at Maroon Dam, 2 1/2 hours south-west of Brisbane. Pat was the visiting teacher while Dave surveyed the surrounding farming landscape.
Mists do occur from time to time across the Maroon Dam lake and with the hills encircling the expanse of water it has a certain ‘Scottish look and feel about it’. The grazing kangaroos add another dimension to the scene.
