A dance in memory and honour of a great friend and Scottish country dance enthusiast - Pearl Smith. Pearl, along with her husband and family, migrated to Australia looking for a better life. Eventually, Pearl moved to the Gold Coast, where she became one of the stalwarts and personalities of the Scottish country dance scene, not only on the Gold Coast, but throughout Queensland.
his dance is a three couple jig and like “our Pearl” there are not too many of them around. Again like Pearl, this dance is a busy dance, and requires a focussed mind.
