This dance was devised for the Ross Group when it was revived in the early 1990’s and danced in the Conservative Club in Ross-on-Wye
In the “RSCDS Herefordshire Branch 40th Anniversary Collection of Dances 1967-2007” the dance description has the correct name “Ross Reel”, but in the Table of Contents the name is misprinted as “The Ross Reel” (information obtained from RSCDS Herefordshire) .
