In 2012 and 2016, Dunfermline Branch were asked to accompany a local church group to Orlova, in the Czech Republic. In 2012, the Branch provided the dancing for a fun Highland Games which included a large Dunfermline v Orlova tug of war - the dance represents travel to Orlova, the tug of war, the hands of friendship extended, the dancing and the races which also took place.
