Заметки
The Louise Carnegie Gates adorn the entrance to Pittencrieff Park at the junction of Chalmers Street and Bridge Street. They were named for the wife of Andrew Carnegie, who purchased Pittencrieff Park and donated it to the people of Dunfermline in 1903. Described at the ceremony as “a magnificent entrance to an equally magnificent pleasure-ground”, the Gates were formally opened on 28th June 1929, three days after the formation meeting of the Fife Branch.
