St Kilda is a group of islands about 100 miles west of the Scottish mainland & 50 miles west of the Outer Hebrides. It is part of the Parish of Harris.
The islands feature high cliffs & dangerous seas. The village of St Kilda was cleared of its inhabitants in 1930 & now the islands belong to the National Trust.
